Thoughts on the Trump victory

Maybe we needed the insanity of 2020-2024 to truly wake up.

Exactly four years ago when Joe Biden seemingly won the presidency and the very next day, Pfizer announced to the world that they had developed a COVID vaccine that was 95% effective at preventing transmission, I was optimistic.

I hated what the COVID hysteria had done to our world up that point and I was naive to think that a change in administration was going to help the world. I also briefly believed the pharmaceutical companies’ obvious lies that their billion-dollar products would save us.

With a supposed liberal “pro-choice” administration, it should have gone differently.

But within a couple months the entire world was back in lockdowns for a mild seasonal virus. The false hope of a “vaccine” was what allowed politicians to lock us down again in late 2020/early 2021.

The false promise of this product allowed our health leaders to move the goalposts once again and that is when I believe I truly woke up.

I guess that is one silver lining of this era is that it woke me up like so many. Woke me up to the lies I’ve been told my entire life by the mainstream media and politicians.

Many will be surprised that I was cheering for Donald Trump in these recent elections. I would have considered myself a Liberal/Democrat supporter for most of my life, but the last four years has made it obvious that this world needs a course correction.

I know Donald Trump and republicans (as well as Conservatives in Canada) supported lockdowns. I also know that some Canadian conservatives even supported the insane mRNA segregation that will go down as the most divisive policy of my lifetime. But for all their faults, the conservatives south of the border never did.

Donald Trump still brags that he helped develop the mRNA technology. But he has not once ever suggested that such a product should have been forced or used to strip away people’s rights.

This famous Rasmussen poll from January 2022 will go down in history books showing how deranged the left/Liberals/Democrats became.

Similar polls with similar results were conducted in Canada around that time. Led by the rhetoric of Joe Biden, Kamala Harris and Justin Trudeau the majority of those on the left wanted to lock unvaccinated people like me at home…

Nearly a third of them wanted to take away my three children. There is a lot of talk of historical atrocities lately concerning taking away children from parents a century ago. But these polls that which were seriously being looked at by Democrats and Liberal leaders happened less than three years ago… And we are just supposed to forget?

The red bars were disturbing as well especially in Canada where many Conservatives were in lockstep with the Liberals. But at least most Conservatives have acknowledged the disaster that was mRNA segregation. Many have also acknowledged that the overall COVID tyranny was a mistake.

But the Democrats and Liberals haven’t. Even though there is no doubt they know the truth, the left wing continues to try and sell their narrative that forcing mRNAs was somehow okay. They still proudly lie to the public with divisive language like the 12th COVID booster offered in 2024 will “protect those around you”.

Unless this side takes full accountability and sincerely apologizes, there is no coming back from this. But they won’t.

In order to rewrite history, Liberals in this country are even giving one of the country’s highest honours (Order of Canada) to the ones who were the most wrong and most responsible for the division. Recently they added André Picard to this list for his work in promoting their hateful 2022 agenda.

So, when people ask me how I can support someone like Donald Trump, my answer is simple. How can I support the other side?

How can I support a party that doesn’t think it was absolutely batshit crazy to want to take my kids away because I didn’t want to take an experimental product. A party that likely would have gone that far if the Freedom convoy hadn’t woken up the world.

Like I said, the US and the world needs a course correction but on some fronts, it needs a revolution. Health care is one of them. Trump has promised to let Robert F. Kennedy Jr. overhaul the health bureaucracy in the US. And this will have enormous positive effects in Canada as well.

Elon Musk, undoubtedly the smartest person in the world and someone who has revolutionized a dozen industries, will play a big role on Trump’s team.

And lastly, yesterday we found out that the most loved Canadian of all time, Wayne Gretzky, was a special guest at Trump’s victory party Tuesday night.

Maybe the misery of the last four years was needed. Maybe my optimism today will be short-lived like in 2020. But I have a feeling that the next four years will define a generation. On Tuesday night Elon Musk said to the world “you are the media now”. I think he is right. I think enough people have woken up and now know that they have been lied too so often. I believe what led us down the dark path to tyranny from 2019 until now was the lack of courage to speak up. The lack of courage to take a stand at the cost of risking their social standing.

The Great One proudly supporting Trump proves to me that the people are speak up again.
