My new book is now available in audiobook. Creating an audio version of this book was a lot harder than I anticipated. Even though it is still likely not at the same production level as some of the professionals, I did my best.
It’s available on Audible or on Apple books. Just search “Rejean Venne”.
I’m not a big fan of Audible because they say the book is free but really you have to sign up for a subscription plan (with the first month free) and then you pay $14.99 a month.
If you have an Amazon/Audible account and want to listen to the book, comment here or send me an email and I’ll just send you a promo code that you can put on the Audible website which will allow you to have it for free without having to sign up for their “trial” or having to put your credit card information. All I ask for is a fair review on Amazon (or Audible) afterwards.
On Apple, it is available for a one-time purchase.
Overall, I am happy that the book will be available for those who prefer to listen. But I don’t really like the audiobook royalty formats. Audible (who owns most of the audiobook industry) doesn’t pay per book sold or listened to on their platforms.
The only way authors get paid is when someone signs up for the “free trial” while listening to the authors book as their first book and then doesn’t cancel after 60 days. In that case, authors get a $75 bonus. It’s a nice bonus but I just don’t like the idea that the incentive is to get people to sign up to a subscription plan which I wouldn’t even do myself.
Anyhow, that is just a little insight into the audiobook publishing industry. If you want to listen to the book and are a subscriber here, please let me know and I’d be happy to share it.

Awesome. I am subscribed and I love audio books.
