By now so many of you will have heard of Garnet Harper. The 35 year old Sudbury man that our medical system failed.
The 35 year old father of 5 who exposed how inhumane, how far, how utterly insane our obsession with COVID truly went.
In a recent interview his wife, Meghan rightfully described him as a warrior. Her words really stuck with me. She specified that Garnet “never intended to be a martyr. He never intended to die”. I have no doubt that this man will be remembered as the warrior and amazing father he was. But he will also be remembered as one of the great martyrs of this shameful era.
I’ve never met Garnet but man I wish I had. Although I will be 35 years old myself next month and lived most of my life in Sudbury, I never knew him.
Last month I was devastated when I heard that Canada was going to allow a woman to actually die because she did not have the correct COVID therapeutic status. In the process I was awakened to the fact that our system has already killed… Yes, there is no other way to describe Garnet’s story.
The COVID religion killed Garnet. It took away 5 children’s father.
I spent the last month trying to learn as much as I could about Garnet and I am very confident we would have gotten along very well.
Right from the beginning, Garnet fought for what he believed in. He fought well before many of us had the same courage to stand up.
It’s impossible to know what motivated him to fight or what he was fighting for but from watching his many public videos, it was clear to me that he was fighting for his children. He faught for all children.
When they forced us to wear masks with seemingly no justification other than keeping us all scared, Garnet not only stood up to ridiculous rules, he showed his children how to live their life without fear. Garnet was a genius. Because he showed his children how to live courageously and respectfully.
In some videos from 2021, Garnet brings his 5 children to Walmart to buy bubbles without a face covering. Yes just to buy bubbles…It was illegal to step into “non-essential isles such as the ones selling toys and bubbles. While the government and public health leaders were trying to control us all with fear and ridicule, Garnet taught his children one of the most important lessons in life. He showed them that if rules were unjust or did not make sense, they should not be followed.
Martin Luther King said these famous words from prison in 1963 after he was arrested for holding a peaceful demonstration against racial segregation in stores and restaurants in Alabama.
That’s what Garnet did when he brought his children to the playground and he ripped all the caution tapes. In hindsight we all know that taking away an entire generations sports, activities and normalcy was a huge mistake. I think most people knew it was a mistake 2 years ago. But not many had the courage to stand up for their children like Garnet did early on.
“Our children deserve much better. We are supposed to defend and protect our children. Rise up parents!” - Garnet Harper as he removed caution tape from closed playground in 2021
I drew courage from people like Garnet when I finally told my own children to start defying these same rules. Many did…
Garnet never stopped fighting. He helped organize a student protest in Sudbury in 2022 at a time when our society was staying silent as 12-18 old kids were denied the right to sports or school activities unless they took mRNA shots.
Garnet knew that forcing kids to take these shots was unethical. He knew all these rules were unethical and unjust. They were unjust to business owners, to those dying alone, to children being robbed of their childhood. Many people knew what Garnet knew back then but lacked the courage to stand up as tall as Garnet.
Although Garnet tragically passed in May, his story is gaining more attention as of late. The mainstream media is finally covering his story.
It’s forcing more people to talk about it. We are being made aware of more and more tragic details everyday. Like the fact that Garnet’s own brothers were willing to be living donors to save him. But our religious COVID obsession doesn’t allow people to receive life-saving gifts if they don’t comply with their religion’s rules around mRNA therapeutics.
Our system would not let him receive a transplant from a willing donor who accepted his medical decision. We had all the means to save Garnet. We had the technology, we had resources. But our medical establishment’s obsession let him die.
Although Garnet had no intention to be a martyr, it is one of the many words we will use when referencing him in our description of this era when our grandchildren ask.
A martyr is someone who is killed because of their beliefs. Garnet was killed because he didn’t believe in the rules. I don’t think it had anything to do with his disbelief in the utility of the COVID therapeutic. Garnet was not denied treatment because he didn’t get the shots. He was denied because he refused to even disclose this information. On behalf of every single Canadian who may have made a number of different health decisions in their lives, Garnet told the system that is was none of their business. He was absolutely right. When the dust settles, history will know he was right. We should have NEVER discriminated on the basis of personal health choices. We should never again…
Our system didn’t kill him because he wasn’t vaccinated. They killed him because he wouldn’t agree with their unjust rules. That is why we will remember him as a martyr.
Watching the many videos of Garnet and his family these past weeks has brought many tears to my eyes. This man was a true hero. He was a REAL father.
I cried when I thought that his children would not get to grow up with him looking after them. But I kept thinking that this man likely gave his kids more courage, common sense and toughness than most dads could in a lifetime.
Avah, Elyanah, Yarah, Nyah and Judah, I’m sorry that our cruel world did this to you. But don’t ever forget the important lessons your dad taught us all.
**There is a GiveSendGo fundraiser in the name of Garnet at this link. The fundraiser is to help his family cover costs to pursue legal action, as well as to replace the income he would have otherwise provided for his family.
This is the most tragic story ever. Rest in peace dear Garnet. Thank you for standing up for our children. I remember him going to science north and they denied him and his children entry for not wearing a mask. He had a paid membership there and they wouldn’t let him in. I would have lost my shit but Garnet kept his cool and tried to explain how stupid their useless masks were. He gained my respect right at that moment.
